‘Christmas Tree Skirt’ Workshop

Get into the festive spirit with our Christmas in July program and over two morning sessions join the very talented Lynne to create a beautiful handmade Christmas tree skirt to treasure for years to come!
In this fun and relaxed class, you’ll learn patchwork and quilting techniques while stitching a festive project perfect for adding a homemade touch beneath your Christmas Tree.
Whether you’re looking to build your skills or simply enjoy some creative sewing time, this class is a wonderful way to celebrate the season early with fellow crafters.
Included in the class fee is the Xmas Tree Skirt Pattern & Template Set, featuring acrylic templates for the modern large Dresden plates
Dates: Tuesday 14th July AND Tuesday 21st July 2026 ~ (Two x Half Days)
Time: 9.30am to 1.00pm

Class Price: $159

* A sewing machine in good working order and knowledge of how it works is essential for this class**

To help you progress through each stage of the project during this series of classes, some at-home sewing between the two sessions will be required. This will allow you to build your skills step by step and ensure that each step of the tree skirt can be covered during class time.
Patchwork with Gail B Class Policy
– Full payment of class fees is required at the time of enrolling to secure your place in a class.
– All classes require a minimum number of students to run. Final confirmation for the class will be given 7-10 days prior and class requirements will be emailed at this time. We suggest that you only purchase your requirements when the class is confirmed.
– If the class is cancelled due to insufficient numbers, government imposed restrictions and lockdowns or another reason outside the shops control, a full refund, enrollment transfer to the rescheduled date or store credit will be given. No other refunds can be given for classes.
– No catch up classes are available
– No children are allowed to attend classes (unless specifically stated for the class)
– Sewing machines (if required for class) must be in good working order and you must know how to operate them
– Where classes are project based, given different level of skills and sewing pace, the project may not be completed by the end of the session.
– An email address must be provided for communication. If you do not have an email address, you will need to visit the store to receive the class requirements list up to 10 days prior to class start.
