Sit & Sew – Saturdays
The Fourth Saturday of the Month
Teacher: No Tutor
Join us for a relaxed and creative sit and sew at Patchwork with Gail B in our fabulous classroom space.
Bring along a project, settle in, and enjoy some dedicated stitching time in a friendly, creative space with other lovely sewers and stitchers. There’s no formal instruction—just good company, plenty of inspiration, and the joy of sewing at your own pace. Whether you’re finishing off a long-time project or starting something new, it’s the perfect chance to unwind, connect with fellow makers, and let your creativity flow. ✂️🧵

Bring your own project and a mug (we will provide the tea and coffee) and come along for a relaxing morning sewing with other like-minded people.
Time: 9.15 am to 12.30pm
Location: Patchwork with Gail B Shop (Bayswater)
Sit and Sew Price: $15 per session
A Love to Sew loyalty card is available for all Sit and Sew Sessions
Attend 10 Sessions and after your 10th session you will receive a $20 shop voucher
Sit & Sew Group Policy
We’re so glad you’re here! Our Sit & Sew sessions are a relaxed, self-guided space to sew, share ideas, and connect with others.
Please note:
- This is an unhosted session, not a class—no formal instruction or supervision is provided
Fees & Bookings:
- Please book a spot at no cost to let us know you plan to attend. Bookings help us ensure there’s space for everyone!
- Payment is required to on the day of attending
- Fees to our classes and sit and sews are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
Attendance & Cancellations:
- If you can’t attend, please let us know where possible
- Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled if required
To keep things enjoyable for everyone:
- Be respectful, kind, and inclusive
- Be mindful of different skill levels
- Avoid disruptive or unsafe behaviour
We reserve the right to refuse participation if these guidelines aren’t followed.
Safety & Responsibility:
- You are responsible for your own safety
- Only use equipment you feel confident with
- Report any hazards or damage to staff
Equipment:
- Bring your own sewing machine and tools
- Treat shared spaces with care and leave them tidy
- Damage caused by misuse may need to be covered by the individual
As always, if you need something, forget to bring something or just simply want or need something the shop is open during these sessions.
