This exquisitely handcrafted batik is from the beautiful island of Bali, reflecting the island’s tapestry of colour and texture. The artisans use a meticulous time-honoured process to produce the batiks, by applying intricate stenciling to the cotton fabric, which is then treated with layers of dye and with wax for masking innovative designs as well as traditional patterns. The beauty of hand-dyed batiks is that every fabric will vary from one another, making each one unique and one of a kind.
